Ronnie Kaplan
Ronnie Kaplan has been a member on the Technion Canada Board of Directors since 2012 and currently is on the Honourary Board. He previously served as the Chair of the Technion Alumni Committee. He is a member of the Technion Board of Governors.
Ronnie was born in Israel and graduated from Technion’s Faculty of Chemical Engineering with a B.Sc. (1969) and M.Sc. (1973). He is a life member, as a Professional Engineer in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. He has 38 years of career experience in the plastics and petrochemicals industries working for Israel Petrochemical Enterprises, Union Carbide Canada, and Nova Chemicals.
Ronnie donated towards the Campus Exercise walk in memory of his brother. After his retirement in 2010 he graduated with a Master of Engineering (MEng), Specialization Project Management (2011), University of Calgary.
