Adelia Bensoussan
Adelia Bensoussan holds a Bachelor of Science as well as a degree in Education from McGill University and a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Concordia University. She has served as a consultant for the Ministry of Education in the field of Professional Development and Innovation. She has built a distinguished career in education, working within the public school system and coauthoring many pedagogical materials.
Adelia acted as the Director of Hebrew afternoon schools at both the Shaar Hashomayim and Shaarey Zedek congregations. In addition to her contributions to education, Adelia has demonstrated strong leadership and business acumen as the Commercial Director of Les Éditions Hurtubise HMH. Her dedication to community service is equally noteworthy, being on the board of Solomon Shechter Academy, Herzliah High School, Jewish National Fund (JNF) and Chair of the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada Gala Committee (Quebec chapter). She is highly skilled in event planning, community engagement, and project execution, ensuring her invaluable contributions to the organization’s mission.
Adelia is thrilled to join the Board of Technion Canada and looks forward to contributing her skills and enthusiasm to its mission.
