Unfortunately, 50% of patients who undergo replacement surgery, develop osteoarthritis later on. Dr. Arielle Fischer of the Technion’s Biomotion Lab, together with her team of scientists and engineers, is investigating motion using high-tech wearable sensors, smart devices and reflective markers utilized to collect data and drive personalized methods for prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of movement disorders and injuries.
