Parlour Meeting with Prof. Gideon Grader – October 18, 2021
Technion Canada was proud to host a COVID friendly parlour meeting with Prof. Gideon Grader on Monday, October 18th at the home of Linda and Siggy Soudack.
Guests learned about Prof. Grader’s work to develop clean technologies that will decarbonize our economy and prevent global climate change. Prof. Grader is the immediate past Dean of Technion’s Faculty of Chemical Engineering and founding director of the Nancy and Stephen Grand Technion Energy Program (GTEP). He is also the Co-Founder and a board member for H2Pro, a ground-breaking start-up enabling affordable green hydrogen production at scale. Current H2Pro investors include funds backed by Microsoft Corp. founder Bill Gates and Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing.

January 30, 2020
On January 30th, 2020 over 200 people came together to celebrate Technion Canada for the Toronto Council’s launch event, Culinary Discoveries at Kitchen 24. The sold out event featured interactive food stations, where chefs prepared tantalizing dishes and explained the science behind the food. Guests enjoyed food, wine, and live music while learning about exciting food technology from the Technio-Israel Institute of Technology, such as lab grown beef, bee-free honey, and sustainable wine making.
