BSc in Science or Engineering
Application Deadline: May 1, 2025

Technion-Israel Scholarships
Scholarships are available through Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and are awarded based on academic merit at the graduate level.
Language Requirements
Graduates of an accredited academic institution in which the language of instruction is English, as well as applicants whose grade in the verbal part of the GRE or GMAT exam is 75% or higher, will be exempted from taking the Advanced English exam.
**Ph.D. students are required to take an Academic English Writing course within the first three semesters

Non-Degree Programs
Semester Abroad
October-February / March-July
The Semester Abroad program offers a wide range of courses taught in Enlgish in engineering, science, business and humanities subjects at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Students can come for one or two semesters. Applications for the Winter Semester 2025-26 open the beginning of March 2025.
Research Internship
Research internships are available throughout the year for a period of between 2-12 months
Excellent undergraduate and graduate students are invited to become part of a real research team and participate in making new scientific discoveries at the Technion. During the internship, students gain practical laboratory experience working side by side with world-class faculty in cutting-edge research facilities. Subsidies now available.
Summer Research Program in Science and Engineering
The program takes place for one month in July. Applications are now open.
Technion’s Summer Research Program in Science and Engineering is for outstanding undergraduate students looking for a unique experience by undertaking a research project at a leading laboratory or research group at the Technion. Students engage in cutting edge research under the personal guidance of faculty members at the Technion. Subsidies available.

Professional Internship for Semester Abroad Students
Internships are taken over a period of at least 10 weeks
Students who come to the Technion for a semester abroad have the option of undertaking a professional internship at a high-tech or start-up company. Working as an intern allows students to apply the engineering and scientific principles learned in the classroom to a real-world professional environment. Internships are unpaid positions taken over a period of at least 10 weeks [min 200 hours] and grant 3 academic credit points. Internships can be undertaken during the winter [January-March] or summer [June-August].
