Eduardo Guendelman
Originally from Chile, Eduardo Guendelman graduated from Technion’s Electrical Engineering program in 1974. Eduardo is an active member on the Canadian Technion Alumni Association.
After completing his engineering studies at the Technion, he served for nine years as an officer with the Israeli Air Force. Eduardo later became a serial entrepreneur and built more than a dozen tech companies. In 1984, he pioneered the speech recognition industry, which brought him to Canada to serve as an Executive VP of Magna International.
In 1999, Eduardo built a Nasdaq traded company that invented and produced the world’s first hand-held GPS navigation systems. Later, he founded a company that developed and patented a tele-health technology used by the US military and the Veterans Administration. Eduardo serves on Technion Canada’s alumni committee, working to keep graduates connected to the Technion.
